What We Offer


Ngutana-Lui programs are catered to your individual needs. We have a wide range of options to choose from and the lessons we have available for schools are aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

To secure a booking, please complete our online booking form and we will confirm your booking and discuss the lessons or programs directly with you.

Please note, Ngutana-Lui provides a free service for Brisbane Catholic Education schools. There is a small cost for State and Independent schools which can be discussed during the booking process.


For Schools and Colleges

​The Cultural Visitation Program is available to Catholic, State and Independent schools and delivers comprehensive, high quality learning experiences, which focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and spiritualities. The program is available for all year levels and can be delivered in several ways:  

On-site at Ngutana-Lui 
  • ​​​​​​​Schools​ can book a full day program on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the school term. 

At your School or College 
  • ​​​​​​​Ngutana-Lui staff can deliver a full day program on-site. This option is only available on Tuesdays throughout the school term. 

Special Presentation 
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​a Ngutana-Lui staff member can visit your school and deliver an interactive presentation on a specific, or a combination of topics. These presentations are generally one hour each. 

Cultural Learning Days 
  • Days designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from individual or multiple schools (limits apply) to connect, learn more about, and strengthen their connections to Culture and Identity.

Please note, this is a free service for all Brisbane Catholic Education schools and offices, but there is a cost associated for State and Independent Schools. Total costs can discussed during the booking process.  


Cultural Awareness Program (limited availability)

Cultural Awareness Days can be offered to community groups and external organisations. We prefer to offer these during the school holiday periods.  

Cultural Awareness Days provide an opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and spiritualities. Topics can include (but are not limited to): 

  • Truth Telling 
  • The Dreaming 
  • Connection to Country 
  • Aboriginal Spirituality and Torres Strait Islander Spirituality 
  • Family Kinships 
  • Histories and Policies Impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples 
  • Intergenerational Trauma ​​
