Cultural Visitation Program

As the students are involved in a variety of activities it is important that groups are prepared for a full and busy day. 

  • The cultural visitation program runs for four hours from 10am until 2pm 
  • There will be a 20 minute lunch break 
  • Groups are asked to arrive by 9:30am, to allow time for a morning tea break before the program starts. 
  • Should time or travel restrictions see your group arrive after 10am, or departing before 2pm, students may not be able to complete all activities. 
  • In the event of wet weather and staff availability, the program may be subject to change. 

 
Be Prepared!  Make sure you bring the following:​ 

  • Closed in shoes, suitable for walking 

  • Adults - comfortable clothing 

  • Students - sports uniform (WARNING: not all activities are “clean and tidy”) 

  • Sun block – please have this applied before the session starts. 

  • Hats and refillable drink bottles 

  • Morning tea and lunch (tea and coffee are available for visiting adults, free of charge) 

  • Willingness to participate. 

 
Recommended supervision numbers (however, more adults are always welcome):​ 

  • Required Year Level to Adult/Student Ratio 

    • Prep = 1:4 

    • ​Years 1-3 = 1:10 

    • ​Years 4-6 = 1:10 

  • Active supervision is required by school staff throughout the day and during the lessons.
